Kaitlyn Sather, the artist behind kaitlynsgood and founder of Mostly Good Studios, crafts thoughtfully made pieces from her studio in Astoria, New York. Utilizing soft ethereal palettes and whimsical creatures, her delicate bodies of work build worlds around the feminine and fantastical, exploring themes of care, ritual, and vulnerability. 

Beyond her personal practice, Kaitlyn is passionate about art being a powerful tool for healing. Having spent numerous years in fields where art and care intersect, Kaitlyn witnessed the impact art making has on the individual regardless of their stage in life. Facilitating art programming at senior care centers, preschools, and through her own workshops, she was inspired her to open her own community arts space- Mostly Good Studios. Since opening in 2024, Mostly Good Studios continues to be a space fostering joy and community through creation.

When she’s not in the studio, Kaitlyn enjoys spending time with her animal (and some human) friends, trying to garden, and playing dungeons and dragons. Though most often, she’s found covered in clay, seeking out something good.
