Potions
Mostly Good Studios presents, Potions! In this workshop, we will stir, sip, and create a little magic of our own as we craft potions to take home. We will begin with a short, grounding meditation to check in with our energy and discover whether we want our potions to call in, clear out or a little bit of both. You'll learn the energetic meanings and practical uses of easy-to-find potion ingredients (many can be found at the grocery store!) like herbs, oils and crystals. Then, we’ll make three potions together: a nourishing oil, a magical mist and a dry blend. Everyone will leave with three handmade potions and the confidence to continue making their own magic at home!
Holiday Card Making
Make your holiday cards with us at Mostly Good Studios! Gather around with friends and neighbors for an afternoon of paper crafting with Jen H.! We’ll provide all crafting necessities for cards made with love.

SPICES - a spice blending workshop
Mostly Good Studios presents- SPICES! Learn the benefits of cooking and working with an array of different herbs and spices. Learn how to best pair spices, the differences between them, and how to blend them! Sample spices with charcuterie fixings! Make your own blends to take home!
Screen Printing
Learn the basics of screen printing in this 3 hour beginner-friendly DIY workshop! 1 t-shirt and all printing materials provided! No prior experience is needed, and all tools and materials are provided.
HANDBUILDING COURSE - WEEK 1
Over 6 weeks, learn and explore various hand building methods like slab building, coiling, pinching, and modeling. This hand building course is great for anyone looking to learn more about working with clay, build on and gain confidence in their already developed skill set, or commit to their art practice with time set aside once a week to learn and grow! We will be working with an intimate cohort of no more than 12 people, so each student will receive individualized attention based on their interests and goals. Whether you’re a beginner or have been working with clay for some time, this class will meet you where you’re at and give you space and tools to grow.
Our first two sessions will be spent exploring and gaining practice with our foundational techniques. In weeks 3 and 4, students use what they’ve learned to dive into their own personal practice, creating works functional and/or non functional, and bringing their ceramic dreams to life! In week 5 we’ll explore surface decorating, covering techniques like underglaze application, carving and sgraffito! In our final week students will receive their bisque fired pieces, and experiment with the studios many brush on and dip glazes! All final work will be fired at no additional cost.
The Holiday Workshop

In this beginner friendly ceramic workshop you’ll learn fundamental hand building techniques to make a range of art for gift giving season! All work will be processed, fired, and ready for pickup the week of the 14th! We’ll have cookies, tea & cocoa there to fuel your holiday fire ♡
Creature Crafting @ Chateau le Woof
Mostly Good Studios presents- Creature Crafting! A ceramic creature sculpting and painting experience! Guests will learn the hand building techniques needed to bring animal companions of the past, present, or imagined - to life! Class will begin by gathering our resources, and designing our creature inspired blue prints. From there- we’ll move into sculpting, and we’ll finish off with an under glazing session. Weaving with Scraps
This workshop invites participants to create woven pieces using simple frame looms and repurposed textile waste such as fabric strips, yarn remnants, or even plant fibers. A playful and low-pressure introduction to weaving that emphasizes texture, improvisation, and reimagining “waste” as material. The finished pieces can be turned into coasters, pouches, or kept as decorative woven artworks. Participants will be able to turn old material into something new.
PASTA BODY
Mostly Good Studios presents, PASTA BODY- hosted by Kaitlyn & Samantha. Pasta Body is a celebration of self love, food, and ART! An evening of showing appreciation and gratitude to our bodies & all they do for us by indulging in delicious food and thoughtful art making amongst loving company. Relax into an environment where no food, nor any art is “bad”. Where every body is fit to be a work of art. Our evening will begin with a 3 course pasta dinner made by chef Samantha and will be followed by a class in clay figure sculpting, inspired by love for our bodies, taught by Kaitlyn. Our hope is for you to experience a night in community, with a bit less judgment and a lot more love for your body!

Oracle Deck Making
Create your own Oracle Deck! Oracle decks are a wonderful way to get in touch with yourself and the energy of the present moment. And what's more magical than creating a deck that comes straight from the source - you! We'll begin with a short a meditation to ground ourselves for art making. From there, we will dream up themes and meanings to map out your perfect deck. Examples of decks, imagry, symbols and themes will be provided - all you have to do is show up and let your magic flow! Then, using blank card decks, you'll use paint, colored pencils, and markers to bring your cards to life. This is not a series about becoming a perfect artist, rather, it’s about showing up to the space ready to work with the artist that is already within!

Mostly Good Bacteria - PICKLED FINGERS
Mostly Good Studios presents- Mostly Good Bacteria, PICKLED FINGERS! Learn the benefits of pickling and fermentation, and the differences between each! Learn how pairing vegetables and pickling effects your guts, vitamin absorption, and digestibility! All the while- you'll pickle your own 24oz jug of precut veg with a spooky halloween twist- think fingers and eyeballs- to make a perfect addition to this year’s halloween party spread. We'll end with a demo on fermentation, and you'll leave not only with your big ol' pickle jug, but a small jar of our chef Sam's pre-made ferment (like sauerkraut)!
Mostly Littles - Pumpkin Painting
Paint pumpkins with your little one at Mostly Good Studios! Each child & guardian pair will receive two small-medium sized gourds to decorate together! Jen will guide and assist you along the way through various acrylic painting techniques, and she'll provide seasonal reference drawings for inspiration! This class is a great way to explore art making, process and materials with your young ones, and get into the halloween spirit! For children 6 & up. Each ticket admits one guardian/child duo. Children must be accompanied by their guardian for the duration of class.

Tiny Shadows, Big Feelings
Mostly Good Studios presents- Tiny Shadows, Big Feelings! Transform a personal memory, dream, or meaningful moment into a simple yet powerful shadow performance. Using cut paper, overhead projectors, flashlights, and found light sources, students will learn the fundamentals of shadow puppetry, from puppet creation to storytelling through light and movement. Accessible for all skill levels, this workshop encourages deep personal expression while exploring the poetic language of shadows.
Oil Painting
An intimate introduction to exploring oils! This class invites painters of all levels to explore oil painting in a relaxed environment. You'll learn the basics of oil painting, from what you'll need to get started to color mixing and application. Students will be using other art in the studio, like ceramic sculptures, as inspiration for their paintings. Opt to sketch and draw on your own, or have our teacher handle that bit for you beforehand- so you can focus on painting. A great low pressure class to see if oils are for you!

A great space to explore making smaller bongs, bubblers, or more intricate pipe designs!
