AMANDA CARD
Amanda Card (she/they) is a theatre maker, puppeteer, and storyteller whose work explores themes of memory, grief, and the delightfully odd. She specializes in shadow puppetry, creating intimate performances that transform personal stories, dreams, and histories into playful visual worlds. Her original works have been presented at Ars Nova, Kindling Arts Festival, La MaMa, the Object Movement Festival, and the Baltimore Toy Theatre Festival. With nearly 20 years of experience as a teaching artist, Amanda has guided students and artists of all ages to discover their creative voices through puppetry and performance. Amanda holds an MFA in Theatre Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, where she received the Lipkin Prize for Playwriting. She is thrilled to share her love of the personal and the handmade at Mostly Good Studios.
